Is this event COVID Safe?

This event is running under a COVID Safe Event Plan approved by the Mackay Public Health Unit/Environmental Health Mackay. All patrons will need to abide by the COVID Safe rules as set out to attend this event. All patrons will need to pre-purchase their tickets online and complete a short COVID Safe questionnaire. If you do not pass the questionnaire or do not wish to comply with the COVID Safe rules, then you will not be permitted within this event. It is illegal to supply false information.

Can I purchase tickets at the event?

No, due to COVID Safe practices, all tickets must be pre-purchased online.

Why are tickets only available online?

Tickets are only available online to reduce contact points and to record patron contact details in line with COVID tracing requirements. This is the new normal and a requirement under COVID Safe Event Plan.

Do carers to a Companion Card Holder have to pay?

A paid or unpaid assistant or carer assisting the holder of a current Companion Card are admitted FREE with a paid ticket. To apply for your free pass you will need to enter your Companion Card number when purchasing a ticket. All carers will need to complete the online ticketing questionnaire to receive their pass.

What discount cards do you accept?

This event offers discounted entry to people with a valid Seniors Card, Seniors Card +Go, Seniors Business Discount Card, Veteran Affairs Card, Pension Concession Card (Aged only) and Companion Card holders. Tickets are only valid when shown with the valid Card.

Can I get a multiple day ticket?

Yes, there are multiple day tickets available at a discounted cost. Adults $18, Seniors $15 and children 16 and under are free with an adult. Please note all patrons (including children) must register due to COVID-19 contact tracing requirements.

What are the opening hours?

Friday 8:30am- 4:00pm, Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm & Sunday 8:30am – 4:00pm.

How do I get a copy of the Event Guide?

Is there a list of exhibitors?

Yes, the list of exhibitors will be available  in the Event Guide and online. Follow the links in the menu to view.

How do I know when the entertainment is on?

All entertainment running times are published in the Event Guide and on the event website. Follow the links in the menu.

Is there food available at the event?

Yes there will be a number of different food stalls at the event.

Are pets allowed at the event?

No dogs or other animals are allowed within the event (excepting registered guide, hearing or assistance dogs). For details on conditions of entry, click here.

Can I smoke at the event?

No. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) inside the event precinct or within 10 metres of the event entrances is prohibited.

Will there be ATMs on site?

No, due to COVID Safe practices, there will be no ATMs at the event.
